Mediation

Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution in which a neutral third party (mediator) assists the parties in reaching a mutually acceptable agreement.  A mediator does not impose a decision on the parties, but rather, remains neutral and assists the parties in exploring their settlement options.  Mediation is intended to bring the parties together, to clear up misunderstandings, and to find common ground.

The benefits of mediation include:

     •     Mediation is a less expensive route to dispute resolution.

     •     Mediation offers a confidential process.

     •     Mediation offers multiple and flexible possibilities for resolving a dispute.

     •     Mediation consist of a mutual endeavor to reach a resolution.

     •     Mediation does not impose a decision on the parties.

     •     Mediation takes place with the assistance of a neutral mediator trained in conflict resolution.

Mr. Bading obtained his training in mediation through the Justice Center of Atlanta, Inc. (JCA) and is a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.  The JCA is a nationally recognized provider of top quality practice and instruction in mediation and is one of the premier training organizations in the United States.
